The lead singer of Irish rock band U2, Bono was born Paul David Hewson in Dublin. Acknowledged as one of the best live acts in the world, U2 has sold over 170 million albums and won 22 Grammys. Also, a well-known activist and Co-Founder of ONE and (RED). ONE’s nearly 10 million members pressure governments to take action to fight extreme poverty. (RED) works with businesses to raise cash and heat for the AIDS fight and has delivered over $600 million to The Global Fund. Co-Founder of The Rise Fund, a global social impact fund investing in seven sectors aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
