Statutes and Regulations
Last updated: April 10, 2024
Since the creation of the Forum in 1971, its statutes were modified several times.
Over the years the Forum emerged into a globally unique platform through which global, regional and industry agendas are shaped by the World's leaders from business, governments, academia and society at large.
On January 23, 2015 the Forum and the Government of Switzerland signed a headquarter agreement under the Swiss Host State Act through which the status of the Forum was officially recognised.
The Regulations aim at defining the organizational structure of the World Economic Forum (the Foundation) in line with and complementary to Art. 10 et seq. of the Statutes.
