That's how long it would take to close the overall gender gap at current rates of progress, in the 107 countries covered by the Global Gender Gap Report since its inception. The report measures progress towards gender parity in four areas: education, health, economic opportunity and political empowerment.

The situation varies significantly between regions and nations. Our calculator allows you to explore the situation in your home country, and compare it to the rest of the world.
