How to follow and embed our ASEAN 2017 meeting
The World Economic Forum on ASEAN 2017 is taking place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 10-12 May, with a focus on celebrating 50 years of deepening unity and rising wealth. The path ahead may bring another 50 years of prosperity, but only if ASEAN can fully harness its inherent strengths and navigate its rising challenges
Here is our guide to how to follow #asean17 on our digital channels, as well as how to embed individual sessions on your website.
The official meeting hashtag is #asean17. Follow tweets on this hashtag to keep up with everything going on in the meeting.
The World Economic Forum's official Twitter account @wef has over 3 million followers. For live-tweet updates of sessions you can also follow our live-tweet account @davos where we post the highlights from the meeting.

Option 1: Full programme
Add the full broadcast programme to your website and the videos will appear automatically once the meeting starts.
Just copy and paste the following code in your website:

This code will add a section to your website that will look like this:
For a more advanced version of the embed code click on the “embed” button indicated on the previous image where you can configure the player for a different language interface (the interface for the ASEAN meeting is available in English and Original languages, a different background colour), set the autoplay to ‘on’ or ‘off’ and choose different video player layouts or sizes.
Option 2: Individual videos per session
You can embed any of the individual sessions being broadcasted directly to your website. To do that, select the title of the session you want to embed and click on the embed button:
Once you click on the embed button you will be able to configure the embed code to:
- show only the video without any information
- show the video player with title and description
- select different background colours
- change the default audio language if there is more than one, and,
- set autoplay ‘on’ or ‘off’
For instance to embed the session “The ASEAN Dream” the following code will be generated after clicking on the embed button:

This code will add an element to your website that will look like this:
IMPORTANT: The videos will start playing automatically once the session starts. Once the session finishes, it will take a few minutes for the session to be available on demand. The same code will play the video on demand once it is ready. You can leave it on your page or you can add the same code to your “on demand” library.
