Aamir Rafiq Peerzada

Aamir is a BBC journalist based in New Delhi. Before joining the BBC, he worked as a reporter and producer at NDTV, an English news and current affairs channel located in Delhi.

Aamir's expertise lies in long-form storytelling, focusing particularly on documentary filmmaking. He has twice won the RedInk Award from the Mumbai Press Club, and received the Ramnath Goenka Award for On-Spot Reporting in 2016 for his reporting during the Nepal earthquake.

Aamir currently works with the BBC's South Asia and Afghanistan bureau.
