Anne Brockmeyer is a public finance economist in the World Bank’s Macroeconomic and Fiscal Management Practice, and affiliated with the Bank’s Community of Practice on Taxation. Anne’s research focuses on tax evasion and behavioral responses to taxation in developing countries; the determinants and consequences of informality; and the effect of taxation on investment. Her work draws on large-scale administrative data and randomized field experiments. She holds a PhD from the LSE and an MA from Sciences Po Paris.
