Esther Hauk is a scientific researcher at the Institute of Economic Analysis, Barcelona. Formerly, she was an associate professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She has worked in a wide range of topics: equilibrium refinements, experimental economics, industrial organization, public procurement, mechanism design, corruption and the cultural transmission of preferences. Her most recent work is mainly in political economy where she has looked at different conflict situations.
