Hani Ashkar is the Territory Senior Partner for PwC in the Middle East, leading the firm’s operations across the GCC, Levant, and North Africa. A key member of PwC's EMEA Leadership Team and Global Strategy Council, he has played an important role in shaping and implementing the global strategy, driving the firm to a market-leading position in the ME region with a focus on serving high-profile companies and government institutions. PwC has won numerous awards in the region for supporting and developing local talent which now includes 12,000 professionals in the region. With extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, prior to his current role, Hani expanded PwC’s Deals practice in the region, adding new services in forensics, corporate finance, and infrastructure advisory, and served as Country Senior Partner for Saudi Arabia. Passionate about fostering regional development, he serves on the boards of initiatives promoting corporate governance, transparency, and women’s empowerment, including the AIWF, Pearl Initiative, and GCC Board Directors Institute. A graduate of McGill University, Hani is fluent in Arabic and English and is deeply committed to advancing economic and social progress in the Middle East.
