Jodie Padilla Lozano

Jodie Padilla, engineer, is specialized in higher education with a mention in economics and has a master's degree in innovation and development of business. She is currently the founder of “Líderes Hub” where she develops tetrahelix collaborations for the creation of science-based leadership programs for current and future leaders as promoters of equity and inclusion, or competitiveness and innovation.

Inspira Leader, representing in Guayaquil the alumni community of programs financed by the US Department of State, and also posgraduate professor at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, where she forms the teaching team of the research line “Business organization and management, Ethics and corporate social responsibility”. Previously she created "Team Matilde", social campaign that raised awareness (2017-2022) of the legacy of Matilde Hidalgo first woman to vote in Latin America, her great-great-aunt.
As an activist to recognize more women in management positions and in STEAM, postgraduate professor, author and scientific researcher, she also develops the following activities: columnist of Diario El Universo, alumni YLAI 2022 (Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative), alumni EML 2022 (Emerging Media Leaders), Climate Reality Leader and member of the Gender Parity, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation Expert Network of the World Economic Forum.

Recognitions: (1) "Cultural Merit Matilde Hidalgo" from the National Assembly, (2) international designation "Distinguished Lady" from the ODAEE and the Municipality of Guayaquil, (3) receptor of an agreement from the Vice Presidency of Ecuador, (4) "Order of Merit for Ecuadorian Women - STEM Category" as the highest recognition from the Mayor of Manta, (5) only Ecuadorian shaper attending Davos 2021 (virtually) and Davos 2024 (in person and as speaker), (6) Young Leader creating a better world for all, Women Economic Forum LATAM; (7) the first Ecuadorian winner of the Global Writing Contest "Share Your Voice", Girls In Tech HQ San Francisco, that emphasizes volunteering, academic excellence and activism, and (8) Curator from Global Shapers Guayaquil (2020-2021 & 2023-2024).
