Layla Dong is the founder and CEO of Blockshine, a world-leading blockchain platform that ushers in a new era of social impact through strategic consulting services, media platform and global blockchain community hubs.
As the board member of Blockchain Centre, the first non-profit education and knowledge hub dedicated to advancing blockchain adoption, Ms Dong aims to amplify social good through open innovation and community engagement. To bring the promise of blockchain-driven social impact to life, Blockchain Centre has integrated art, lifestyle and technology to different communities including Stepping Stone foundation, Shanghai Jiaotong University and many other institutions. To date, the footprint of Blockchain Centre and Blockshine spans China, Australia, Lithuania, Singapore, Dubai, Malaysia, USA, Colombia and more on the way.
Meanwhile, Layla initiates a CSR (corporate social responsibility) program to help migrant kids across China. Up to now, the CSR program has already organized 11 events to attract more social attention to migrant kids in China.
Layla Dong is the Foundation Board Member of WEF Global Shapers Foundation. Ms Dong has been contributing ideas and insights to the development of the community since 2013. She also continues her teaching role at top-tier institution Suzhou University to inspire the youth to become an innovator.
