Tilman, who has held senior positions with leading financial firms, teaches finance at Columbia University and has authored three books: Financial Darwinism; Asset/Liability Management; and Risk Management. With Nobel economist, Edmund Phelps, he co-authored a Harvard Business Review proposal to create the First National Bank of Innovation. Tilman has been profiled as a Business Visionary by Forbes.
