Lindsay Oldenski

Assistant professor, Georgetown University and Peterson Institute for International Economics

Lindsay Oldenski is an assistant professor at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a non-resident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics..  She received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego and her Master in Public Policy from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.  Prior to joining the Georgetown faculty, Dr. Oldenski taught at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and California State University, San Marcos.  She has also worked as an economist at the U.S. Department of Treasury, an analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and a consultant in the biotech industry.   Her research areas include international trade and multinational organizations.  She is particularly interested in developing models that can explain and predict the offshoring decisions of multinational companies, as well as understanding the impact that offshoring has on both developed and developing countries.
