Luciana Guimaraes Drummond E Silva

Portfolio Coordinator, PPIAF

Luciana, a Brazilian national, joined PPIAF in February 2015. She helps oversee PPIAF’s Latin American and the Caribbean activity portfolio, and also the Sub-National Technical Assistance (SNTA) program.

Previously, Luciana worked as a Project Leader at Abbott Laboratories in Brazil, where she was in charge of developing Public-Private Partnership proposals in healthcare between Abbott and the Brazilian Ministry of Health. She also worked as a graduate student at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division and at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Doing Business Unit.

Luciana holds a Master of Arts in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where she focused her studies on Latin America. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Minas Gerais and a Law Degree from Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos.
