Dr. Melanie Walker is Director of the President's Delivery Unit and Senior Advisor to President Jim Yong Kim at the World Bank Group. She joined the Group from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she served as Deputy Director for Special Initiatives, a team charged with exploring cross-disciplinary interventions and incubating new foundation programs across both health and development. She is the co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s Future Council on neuro-technology and brain science.
