Nadav Zafrir is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Team8. Nadav is focused on driving global growth for Team8 and is the architect of Team8’s relationships across the business, academic and technology worlds. His belief that innovation is found at the edge of chaos has formed his perspectives as Team8 has developed, introduced, and scaled technology companies.
Prior to founding Team8, he served as Commander of Unit 8200, Israel’s elite military technology unit, where he established the Israel Defense Force’s Cyber Command. Unit 8200 is recognized as the informal talent incubator for the nation’s renowned tech industry.
Born in Kiryat Anavim near Jerusalem, Nadav grew up in Latin America and returned to Israel at 18 to enlist in the military, where he first served as a paratrooper before joining Unit 8200.
Nadav travels the world widely, advising Fortune 500 companies, C-suite executives, and boards on the critical role of cyber as an integral part of digital transformation.
Nadav serves as the Chairman of SolarEdge (NASDAQ: SEDG) and Claroty as well as Vice-Chairman of Istari in addition to holding numerous board positions.
