Big data analytics can deliver massive value, but too often companies let technology guide their efforts. Instead, decisions must be based on business priorities.
Prior to joining McKinsey& Company, Nimal had 4 years of operational and engineering experience in a semiconductor company (Intersil Corp), based in Florida and Kuala Lumpur. In 2001, he joined McKinsey & Company in the New York complex and moved to South East Asia in 2005. He has 15 years of experience across sectors with a focus on infrastructure and telecoms, and experience also in automotive, energy and renewables space. He has a B Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Electronic Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
