On secondment to the World Economic Forum, Oren Pinsky is a director of Qualcomm in Latin America where he leads the areas of new business and innovation, focusing on the acceleration of mobile technologies' adoption in verticals such as agriculture, education and IoT. He is responsible for defining strategies and building partnerships with industry players, to make them more efficient and effective through the use of mobile computing technology. Before Qualcomm, he managed Brazil's first cleantech fund, worked at Phillips leading the acquisition of medical device companies in Brazil, and at McKinsey. He is a Chemical Engineer, and holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York. He also studied Exponential Technologies and Future Studies at Singularity University in Mountain View/CA.
