Pınar Yeşin is a senior economist at the Swiss National Bank and an economics lecturer at the University of Zurich. Previously, she worked at the Study Center of Gerzensee and visited the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Her research interests are in international finance and monetary policy. Her recent research focuses on foreign currency lending in Eastern Europe. She holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Boğaziçi University and a doctorate in economics from the University of Minnesota.
