4 ways to build resilience to digital risks in the COVID-19 era

I've lectured at US and European Universities and have conducted special seminars for institutions including the Center for Strategic Leadership, U.S. Army War College, Joint Special Operations University, and Canadian Forces College. I've been a Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, SSHRC, Ford Foundation and IDRC.
I serve on corporate boards including the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries, SecDev Foundation and the Canadian International Council. I was previously a board member of Psiphon inc. and the Estonian e-government Academy. Between 2008 and 2012, I was the senior advisor to the Citizen Lab, University of Toronto.
Back in the 2000’s I was the co-founder of the Information Warfare Monitor (IWM) and the OpenNet Initiative (ONI) and directed the Advanced Network Research Group, Cambridge Security Programme, University of Cambridge. I was also the co-author of the GhostNet report - which documented the first state-sponsored cyber-espionage network - and made a splash on the cover of the New York Times.
