Randolph Bruno

Lecturer in Economics, University College London

Randolph Bruno is Lecturer in Economics at the University College London, School of Slavonic and East European Studies, where is Head of teaching Resources.

He received his Ph.D. in Economics & Management in 2006 from the Department of Economics at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa (Italy). During his Ph.D. he has been visiting student at Berkeley (University of California), research assistant at the Centre for New and Emerging Markets (London Business School) and intern at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (London). He has worked as short term consultant for the World Bank and the European Commission on labour and industrial economics projects.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2007 and became a Research Fellow in April 2010. He is also Research Fellow of the Rodolfo DeBenedetti Foundation, whose purpose is to promote applied and policy oriented research on labor markets and welfare systems in Europe (http://www.frdb.org).

Between 2006 and 2009 he was Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, Italy. He was Teaching Fellow at University College London, School of Slavonic and East European Studies between September 2009 and June 2010. He was Lecturer in Business Economics at the University of Birmingham between July 2010 and August 2012.
