Ratnesh Bedi

President, Pacific Energy Corporation

Mr. Bedi has been the President of Pacific Energy Corporation (PEC) since 2011. The key focus for Ratnesh is PEC’s venture to develop and construct the Woodfibre LNG liquefaction plant in Squamish near Vancouver, Canada. Woodfibre LNG will be the lowest-emission LNG facility ever built. Mr. Bedi’s role, on behalf of PEC and the investor, is to oversee the work performed by the project teams and to ensure appropriate support is provided to them for securing necessary permits; appointing competent design and EPC contractors to design, build and commission the facilities; engaging with First Nations; establishing strong community relationships; networking with government authorities for statutory and commercial approvals; and securing necessary financing.

Mr. Bedi leads the development of an integrated natural gas supply chain that starts with EO100™ certified sustainable supply at Pacific Canbriam Energy in northeastern British Columbia, through Woodfibre LNG, to receiving terminals in Jiangsu, Fujian, and Guangdong in China. Pacific Energy Corporation aims to be one of the world’s most innovative, low emission, responsible natural gas companies.
