Rauha Nangula Uaandja

Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer, Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board

I am a Chartered Accountants by Profession and have served as an auditor and business consultant over 24 years at PwC Namibia until the 31 December 2020 at the end of my 10 year service as the Firm's Country Senior Partner.

Over the years I have grown a burden concerning the triple challenges of unemployment, inequality and poverty that are facing Namibia. It is this burden that led me to pursue further studies (first the Master in Business Leadership and now Doctor in Business Leadership) with focus on the collaborative role required between the public and private sectors to drive inclusive economic growth and find common solutions to these challenges. It is also this burden that led to my resignation as the CEO of PwC Namibia in December 2020 and acceptance of the President’s appointment to the role of first CEO and Chairperson of NIPDB.
