Taha Bawa

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Goodwall

I am the CEO and co-founder of the social enterprise Goodwall (www.goodwall.io). Goodwall connects over 2 million young people to opportunities through its mobile platform and partnerships with leading corporations, governments, and foundations.
Goodwall empowers youth to build skills, connect to learning and earning opportunities, create a supportive community, and become changemakers in their local communities, from tackling climate change to inequality.

Goodwall has raised over 25 million USD and received recognition from publications such as Forbes, CNN, Techcrunch, Wall Street Journal, and - most recently - the cover of Fast Company.

I have been privileged to be featured on several coveted lists, including Forbes 30 Under 30: Social Entrepreneurs (2018) and Entrepreneur Magazine: 15 Entrepreneurs Under 30 to Watch Out For (2020). I speak regularly on education, youth skilling, and the future of work. Examples include podcasts, such as NPR’s Guy Raz show, and conferences, including WEF Davos, Tedx, UNESCO, and UN.

Having lived in 4 countries by age 11 and working in the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa, I have a multicultural view of the world and its potential. I studied Economics at the University of Lausanne HEC and obtained an EMBA from the University of Oxford.

I am a passionate and active member of the Geneva Shapers Hub. I sit on Generation Unlimited, hosted by UNICEF’s Global Leadership Council, and am a member of the Young Presidents Organisation.
