William McDonough is a globally recognized leader in sustainable development. He is Consulting Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, Chief Executive of McDonough Innovation, founder of William McDonough + Partners, co-founder of McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) and co-author of Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things and The Upcycle: Beyond Sustainability—Designing for Abundance. McDonough is the Chair of WEF Meta-Council on Circular Economy.
