Dr. Ziauddin Hyder is the Cluster Leader for Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice in Cambodia and Lao PDR. Prior to joining the World Bank Group he occupied leadership positions, including Director Research, BRAC (Dhaka); Senior Nutritionist, IAEA (Vienna); Manager Special Programs, GAIN (Geneva), Director, Sprinkles Global Health Initiative (Toronto); and Food Security and Nutrition Expert, FAO (Bangkok). He was trained as a medical doctor, with a Masters degree in Food and Nutrition Planning and PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology.
