Digital Transformation Summit (DX Summit)

The Digital Transformation Summit (DX Summit) took place on 28 April 2023, bringing together visionary leaders from business, government and civil society to discuss the dramatic social changes that are being driven by Digital Transformation (DX) and Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) and to mobilize action. The summit was an official event of the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting, which aims to foster public-private collaboration in the digital space and provide greater value for all stakeholders.

Agile Governance Summit

The Agile Governance Summit took place on 27 April 2023, fostering discussions amongst its highly diverse participants regarding governance innovations required for a CPS society, applying practical knowledge to topics – including green transformation (GX) and democracy – based on the premise of a pluralistic society. The summit was a side event of the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting.

High-Level Round Table for the G7 Sustainable Urban Development Ministers’ Meeting

The High-Level Round Table for the G7 Sustainable Urban Development Ministers’ Meeting took place on 28 April 2023 as an official precursor to the G7 Urban Development Ministers’ Meeting on 7-9 July in Takamatsu, Kagawa. It brought together senior urban development officials from G7 nations as well as other leading thinkers from national and municipal governments, businesses, and civil society to discuss topics related to cities’ net zero initiatives for resilience and carbon neutrality, equality, inclusiveness, and technology governance.

Global Technology Governance Summit (GTGS)

The inaugural Global Technology Governance Summit (GTGS), hosted by Japan, took place virtually on 6-7 April 2021, creating a new global space for cooperation on technology adoption and regulation. More than 2,000 leaders gathered to discuss how the world can ensure that technology adoption improves the lives of citizens and responds to global challenges.
