This research initiative, jointly launched by the Forum and the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), explores the future of global fintech. The initiative aims to respond to current public and private sector needs for more robust data and empirical evidence on fintech that can inform market development and facilitate evidence-based regulation. By collaborating with a global group of innovative and relevant fintechs and incumbent financial institutions, this effort looks to produce valuable research outputs that highlight global market trends, generate regional fintech insights, and assess how fintech activities are impacting consumers, SMEs and financial inclusion.
This initiative also brings together innovators, financial services incumbents, regulators, and development institutions through a series of roundtables and workshops to share learnings, disseminate knowledge, action on research findings, and forge meaningful public-private partnerships.
