Council on the Connected World

Council on the Connected World

In light of growing social, economic, political and environmental challenges and persistent media hype around new and emerging technologies, local communities are at risk of not fully harnessing these innovations for the public good.

The Council on the Connected World is uniquely positioned to provide a neutral and unbiased global perspective on how technological innovation can transform communities into more liveable, sustainable, and resilient spaces. Anchored by a comprehensive biennial report, the Council’s work identifies the core principles by which technological innovation advances sustainability, enhances quality of life, and fosters inclusive economic prosperity. The Council then amplifies examples of world-leading innovation through a series of activities, including a global communications campaign and events.
