International Energy Community - China

The International Energy Community China, launched by the Platform for Energy, Materials and Infrastructure in 2019, is a community of “professional friends” dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. The community’s aim is to bring the Forum’s activities on the energy platform to the Chinese partners and share China’s successes and challenges in energy with the rest of the world.

The community currently has over 40 representatives from SOEs, governments and multi-national companies. Through activities spread out through the year, the community convenes on a regular basis both physically and virtually. Past events include International Energy Transition Meeting in collaboration with State Grid, CAST and SASAC and an energy session at the China Business Roundtable.

Please contact Stephanie Shi (stephanie.shi@weforum.org) for more information and ways to be involved in this community.
