The Future of the Connected World is a collaboration of the World Economic Forum and our Executive Council.
The Council on the Connected World formed in 2019 to strengthen global governance and innovation of IoT and related technologies to maximize the positive benefits, and minimize harm, for all of society.
At the inaugural meeting of the Council in May 2019, members agreed to create a comprehensive report that identifies and prioritizes key governance gaps across the IoT ecosystem, showcases promising policy initiatives and shapes the global agenda. Access all reports.
The Council takes the most critical challenges identified in the reports and transforms them into actions by mobilizing the international community.
