The United Kingdom is hosting the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in Glasgow (1- 12 November 2021) and will convene governments, businesses, and civil society, and the public to accelerate global action to tackle the climate crisis.
As the international organization for public-private cooperation, the World Economic Forum will drive a range of physical and virtual engagements in and around COP26 to help progress climate action. The Forum COP26 Live programme aims to showcase the crucial role of public-private cooperation in achieving a sustainable future for people, prosperity, and the planet.
The Forum COP26 Live Programme is a key milestone for the Climate Action Platform, which is focused on raising business ambition on climate, advancing climate action by transforming key industries and financial markets, whilst mobilizing all segments of society into climate action.
