Some 2,500,000,000,000,000,000 (2.5 quintillion) bytes of data are created each day, but inadequate governance protocols and standards mean that only a fraction of this value gets harnessed for the benefit of society. How can economies scale up inclusive and efficient data-sharing and ownership mechanisms? This session is associated with the Affiliate Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Colombia.
