A Crucial Year to Focus on Adaptation

Adaptation costs in developing countries could reach $300 billion a year by 2030 to provide resilient infrastructure, nature-based solutions and improve agriculture and water systems for communities most exposed to the consequences of climate change. How can the climate COPs in Africa and the Middle East unlock scaled-up multistakeholder partnerships for adaptation, with a particular focus on emerging and frontier markets?
