Cybersecurity Futures 2030

Speakers: Ann Cleaveland, Ken Xie

A proliferation of inexpensive tools available to cyber criminals, advances in value transfer and identification, supply chain frictions and fractures in global internet governance mean that by 2030 the landscape of digital security will once again be radically transformed.

What key driving forces will shape the long-term future of cybersecurity and how can it inform leaders’ strategic plans across the globe?

This session is associated with Cybersecurity Futures 2030, an initiative by the UC Berkeley Center for Long-term Cybersecurity, supported by the World Economic Forum Centre for Cybersecurity.

Centre for Cybersecurity

The Centre for Cybersecurity strives to provide an independent and impartial platform to reinforce the importance of cybersecurity committed to addressing the growing cyber inequity, the challenges posed by emerging technologies like generative AI, and the cyber skills shortage. The Centre is developing solutions to tackle these issues through the Global Cybersecurity Outlook report, the Bridging the Cyber Skills Gap initiative, and multilateral sessions on Cyber Skills and Cyber Election Security.
