The targeted dissemination of misinformation, fake news and online defamation are having an unprecedented impact on public psychology and political outcomes. In this environment, how can Latin America prepare for forthcoming elections?

Dimensions to be addressed:
- Strengthening information and media literacy
- Breaking echo chambers and advancing fact-checking
- Developing new multistakeholder partnerships
