Allied Irish Banks (AIB Group) is among Ireland's largest banking and financial services groups. It operates through three divisions: AIB Bank for retail and commercial banking activities in Ireland and the United Kingdom, AIB Capital Markets for corporate, treasury, international and investment banking activities, and the Polish division, which comprises a 70.5% shareholding in Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy, with headquarters in Wroclaw in western Poland.
