Bank of China

Bank of China, founded in 1912, is the longest continuously operating bank in China and the first A+H (Shanghai and Hong Kong) listed bank in China. It has played a significant role in developing China's foreign trade, promoting close cooperation with the international financial community and boosting China's economic growth and social progress. At the end of 2022, the Bank had 11,439 domestic and overseas institutions. Of these, 10,908 are in Mainland China and 531 are in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and other countries and regions in China. As of 2022, Bank of China had total assets of RMB 26,722.4 billion. In 2022, Bank of China has total operating income of RMB 618.0 billion, net profit of RMB 237.5 billion and customer deposits of RMB 20,201.8 billion. In 2022, Bank of China was ranked 42nd on the Fortune 500 list.
