Bank of Communications is a major financial services provider in China. Its business scope includes commercial banking, securities services, trust services, financial leasing, fund management, insurance, and offshore financial services. As at end 2016, it had 232 domestic branches and 21 overseas banking entities in over 16 countries and regions. In 2016, Bank of Communications was named among the top 500 global companies for the eighth consecutive year and was ranked 153rd in terms of revenue by Fortune. It was ranked 13th among the top 1,000 banks globally in terms of tier-1 capital by the Banker.
