Founded in 2005, Be8 (new brand of BSBIOS) is a Brazilian company of the Holding ECB Group. Its purpose is to “lead energy renewal to create a sustainable future, preserving humanity's origins and the Earth”. Currently, it is among the largest producers of biodiesel in the country and has set a goal to become carbon-neutral by 2030. The company produces a renewable and less-polluting biofuel – biodiesel – using oilseeds, animal fats and used cooking oil. In the agribusiness chain, it also industrializes soybean meal and co-products.
