Gentera

Gentera is a group of companies committed to eradicating financial exclusion through financial services: credit, savings, insurance, methods of payment, remittances and financial education. Gentera serves more than 3.2 million clients. Of its seven subsidiaries, three are financial services institutions operating in Mexico (Compartamos Banco), Guatemala (Compartamos) and Peru (Compartamos Financiera). The other subsidiaries comprise a banking correspondent network in Mexico (Yastás), an insurance broker (Aterna), a remittance company (Intermex) and a foundation (Fundación Gentera) dedicated to supporting social projects.
