
A net zero carbon future for cities
The World Economic Forum is convening stakeholders with a role to play for global cities to have a chance of reaching the net zero carbon goal for by 2030.
IFC (International Finance Corporation), a member of the World Bank Group, is a global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. Working with private enterprises in about 100 countries, it uses its capital, expertise and influence to help eliminate extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity. In fiscal year 2016, it provided more than $18 billion in financing to improve lives in developing countries and tackle the most urgent development challenges.
