Light Sky Macro (LSM) is a US based private hedge fund. LSM invests on behalf of institutional investors with a macro strategy whose success is predicated on understanding global economic and political trends. LSM was established in early 2017 under the leadership of Mr. Ben Melkman. Prior to starting LSM, Mr. Melkman was a partner at Brevan Howard, which is one of the largest hedge funds in the world. LSM was the largest hedge fund launch in 2017 with $2 billion AUM, which has since risen to $2.2 billion AUM. LSM trade on global macroeconomic themes, which as of November 2018 included Brexit, US-China trade, Argentina economic crisis, and Japan fiscal policy.
