Lori’s technology and operations-driven marketplace connects transport to shippers like Cargill and DHL. The product has improved logistics transparency, flexibility, reliability and costs, with savings upwards of 18%. The company has grown a compounded 25% month-over-month over the last 19 months. Lori operates in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Nigeria and Ghana, with 120 full-time employees, 50 consultants and 1,000 drivers. It was named the fastest growing start-up in Africa and won TechCrunch Battlefield Africa 2017.
