Mobility Aid and Appliances Research and Development Centre (MAARDEC)

Mobility Aid and Appliances Research and Development Centre (MAARDEC) is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria with the objectives of researching, developing and producing mobility aid appliances for people with disability. Products include the Cosokoli Hand Control Mobilizer, leg braces, crutches, walking frames and tricycles. It provides physiotherapy services including free counselling and guidance. It aims to ensure that about 500,000 Nigerians with disabilities acquire efficient and sustainable mobility aids and appliances.
