Aba Obrumah Crentsil is a Senior Research Fellow with the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economics Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana. She is an interdisciplinary researcher whose work sits at the intersection of development planning, development and environmental sociology. Her research interest lies in, sustainable development, social protection and gender, interactions between populations and their environments (climate and energy), evaluation planning, urban planning and how to accommodate research in above fields by using planning supporting systems. Aba also have over 10 years of experience in research consultancy and advisory work in sustainable energy and gender.
She has published extensively and her expertise includes gender mainstreaming, designing and conducting qualitative research, combining quantitative, qualitative and participatory methods; fieldwork and supervision of local fieldwork teams, policy advice & evaluation work; project management; workshop facilitation, and teaching.
