Has held a number of senior management positions with the private sector and donor agencies, including: Chief Auditor, State Audit and Administrative Control Bureau; Project Director, World Bank; Chief Controller, Palestine Industrial Estate Development Company; Chief Financial Analyst, USAID; six years as Chief Executive Officer, Palestine Capital Markets Authority (PCMA). Since August 2015, first Palestinian woman to become Minister of National Economy; also chairs the Palestinian Investment Promotion Agency (PIPA), Palestine Industrial Estates and the Free Zones Authority (PIEFZA), and the Palestine Standards Institute (PSI).
