Ainsley Newson

Associate Professor, University of Sydney

Dr. Ainsley Newson is Associate Professor of Bioethics at the University of Sydney, Australia. She has honours degrees in Science and Law and a PhD in Bioethics. Ainsley works on the ethical aspects of genomics, human reproduction and emerging biotechnologies including CRISPR genome editing and synthetic biology. She has published and lectured widely on these topics, and has gained significant research funding. Ainsley is a member of several local, national and international committees regarding bioethics and policy.
