Alejandro M. Guerrero is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for Marsh Argentina and Uruguay. He is also Regional Financial & Professional (FINPRO) leader for Latin America & Caribbean and a member of Marsh’s FINPRO Advisory Board.

Alejandro has worked in the insurance industry for more than 26 years, beginning in La Meridional (AIG Argentina) in the Claims Department, subsequently moving to the brokerage business at Johnson & Higgins Argentina as a Junior Account Executive. In 1995 and 1996 he was recognized as Sales Leader for Latin America for his achievements in expanding the client base and revenues of the company.

His Law studies background in the University of Buenos Aires and experience in the D&O, Professional Indemnity, and Financial lines of insurance earned him strong recognition with insurers and clients throughout the region and world, providing conferences in Washington, Cologne and writing articles for Financier Worldwide.

He started his Business career with Marsh in 1990 as an Assistant Account Executive in the International Department of Johnson & Higgins Argentina. Appointed Director in 1997 and in 2007 he was appointed Executive Vice President of Marsh Argentina. In 2012, Alejandro was appointed CEO for Argentina & Uruguay.

Alejandro has also led the Regional FINPRO and Construction practices for the region, as well as serving on the Finpro Advisory Board of Marsh for three years in representation of the LAC Region.

In 2014, Alejandro was appointed MMC Argentina Corporate Country Officer.
