Beside my following degrees in Engineering, I am a research fellow of Harvard Medical School, a Postdoctoral research fellow of BWH and I hold a Distinction degree in Executive MBA from Suffolk university in Boston.
I Joined UAE University in the college of Engineering in 2009 as an assistant professor and promoted to Associate Professor in 2014. I have many publications in my field, mainly 3-Compartments bioreactor (so-called FIF), Bioengineering, Nano technology, Biomaterials, Modeling and 3D cell culturing. I have over 20 high impact factor journal papers and conference proceedings in the field of bioengineering. My current career embraces major administrative and academic themes.
I served as member of many boards in private, and government sectors.
I was awarded a patent for new idea for bioartificial liver device.I have been awarded by the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid the UAE first 43 Emirati pioneers award for my research in artificial liver device . I have been selected to serve as a member in the emirates scientific council that was recently announced by his highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid.
