President/ Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia - took the office on 20 March 2024. Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia took office in June 2017 until march 2024. As Prime Minister, has focused government on digitization, education, public service and economic reforms; delivering efficient and transparent services to citizens and preparing Serbia for the strategic goal of EU Membership. Since taking office, has overseen the implementation of fiscal consolidation, stabilizing the economy and returning the budget to surplus. In addition, has achieved a transformation towards an economy based on knowledge and innovation, increasing average wages, pensions and employment rates, in particular among young people. President of the Council for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Information Technologies and Vice-President of the Council for Public Administration Reform. Long-time supporter of minority groups in Serbia; President of the Council for National Minorities and Member, World Economic Forum New Leaders for Europe community. 2016-17, served as Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. Prior to joining the government, worked in the private and third sectors and was Founder and Director of the non-profit organization PEXIM.
